Precision IT Management
Precision IT Management makes practical, web-based tools for operations that have outgrown spreadsheets and patchwork apps. Our flagship product, FleetPortal, runs a real 21-truck trucking company — every day.
Who we are
Precision IT Management was founded by Nick Lewis — whose résumé doesn't read like most software founders'. Across 15+ years in enterprise IT, Nick supported technology for companies like Procter & Gamble and NetJets, and at MOBI he supported P&G's global mobility program — 85,000+ lines across multiple countries — handling deployments, support, and the company portal that kept it all organized. (MOBI was later acquired by Tangoe, an industry leader overseeing $40 billion in annual technology spend across 10 million connected devices.) His throughline never changed: organize operations, streamline workflows, and build the systems that keep companies running.
Then he traded the corporate world for a dump truck. Six years behind the wheel at P&C Johnson Trucking, he watched the company run hours, payroll, and billing entirely by hand — hours of manual work every week. So he built FleetPortal to fix it. It worked — and it clicked: the small businesses he'd come to know, across trucking, excavation, and a dozen other trades, were all fighting the same chaos that enterprise tools had solved years ago.
Precision IT Management brings that enterprise-grade approach to the businesses that never had access to it — practical, web-based software at small-business prices. We've sat in the Fortune 100 conference room and the truck cab. We build for the cab.
A real enterprise-IT career and real time on the operations floor. We build software people actually use.
One flat monthly bill. No long-term contracts, no per-seat games.
You talk to the people who built it — not a ticket queue.
